Born to fly one of a kind   (2013-03-16)
This is my grandfather, although he passed away 2 months before my birth in '61 I was grateful and humbled to have the experience to know him through my grandmother my mother my uncle and most of all my Aunt Diane who just recently passed with complete and utter grace and dignity.
she said all she wanted to do was to finish these 2 books for all to see what an amazing man, father and grandfather he was to us all, she told me many many stories and with these stories her eyes sparkled with joy, it was as though i was right there in the story...from an amazing man came an amazing woman who put a lot of time and effort into hundreds of hours of research and love to allow the ROBBINS name to be something of a legacy within our family, hope all that gets a chance to see and or visit all these artifacts and the books in person puts there self in that time, and really gets the vibe as to how times have certainly changed from then till now.
i know one thing on my bucket list is maybe one day get the opportunity to learn to fly..just once, to get the real feel and spirit of it all!
sincerely and humbly grateful
