Abstract:

The Israelites have only one mighty hero to resist the harsh oppression of the Philistines: Samson. Unable to subdue Samson with force, the Philistines promise a fortune to Delilah, the woman Samson loves, in return for betraying him. She discovers and removes the source of his strength, leaving Samson powerless. But Samson has been blessed from birth by the Almighty, and in the spectacular climax he brings down upon the Philistines the wrath of God. This animated film is one of a series of Bible episodes seen through the eyes of three young visitors from the 20th century.
