Summary:
Blackie Norton, owner of a cabaret in San Francisco's Barbary Coast district, hires small-town Mary Blake as a singer. They fall in love. When Mary moves from cabaret to opera house, Blackie is outraged. Mary then becomes engaged to Nob Hill aristocrat Jack Burley. Abstract:

Blackie Norton, owner of a cabaret in San Francisco's Barbary Coast district, hires small-town Mary Blake as a singer. They fall in love.
