The concept is pretty unique: a Western style whale drive from the Arctic to the Antarctic. I rarely read a book in one sitting and I did--I could not put it down. The 400+ pages flew by because the action was nonstop, the plotting is complex with engaging twists and turns, and it's quite remarkable...
