Abstract:

Joseph Frascone spent his early childhood in Yonkers, NY, in a working-class neighborhood during the 1970's, being shunted back and forth between his divorced parents and family friends. His mother forced him into the role of of man of the house even after her remarriage, but he steadfastly refused to be a student. For a while he had the dream of being a professional baseball player until he witnessed a vicious fight between players in a neighborhood game. Eventually his restlessness brought him into the underworld of drugs.
