Summary:	Social scientists differ from scholars in the natural sciences in the information sources they rely on and in some of the ways they locate information. Data from a study sponsored by OCLC and synthesis of previous work show that social scientists' use of libraries is very traditional; they are less likely to use the professional bibliographic services and apparatus that librarians offer; and they personal collections heavily overlap library collections.  Read more...
