Summary:
Filmed on location in San Cristóbal de las Casas (Mexico). A gangster's girlfriend who is trying to escape him (Darnell) and a tainted prizefighter (Mitchum) meet in Mexico and fall in love, then must foil the plans of Jack Palance who has been sent down to kill Darnell. Climactic scene takes place on a cablecar up to the top of La Cumbre (a mountain).
