Abstract:

DCI Ross Tanner is a great detective with excellent powers of observation. While leading a high-profile investigation, however, he begins to lose his vision. At first defiant about the diagnosis, he cannot escape it, and terrified, tells no one. Ambitious DI Tully soon guesses Tanner's secret and makes a deal: she will be his eyes, if he agrees to further her career. To keep working, Tanner must overcome fear, re-invent his methods, and develop his 'second sight.'
