Abstract:
Following the advice of his dying father, Hal dates only physically beautiful women. One day, he runs into a self-help guru who hypnotises him into recognizing only the inner beauty of women. Hal then meets Rosemary, a grossly obese woman who Hal sees as a vision of loveliness. Will their relationship survive when Hal's equally shallow friend undoes the hypnosis and Hal sees the real Rosemary?

Did you ever wonder if people see themselves differently than they actually appear? In this movie, you'll find out the truth! Hal (Jack Black) is a very shallow dater. He picks the most beautiful women with fabulous figures as targets for dating; that is until he gets stuck in an elevator during a brownout with Anthony Robbins, who 'hypnotizes' him to see others as they see themselves! Now, the ugly duckling appears beautiful (to him) and the largest builds are twigs by comparison. If not for his best friend, he'd remain that way. Not for children, but a great adult comedy!
