Abstract:

The town of Redemption is rife with corruption. The sheriff has been murdered. An innocent man faces the gallows. And to ensure that no one investigates the local councilmen's dealings with the infamous Rio Sagrado Gang, a blacksmith without any law enforcement experience is appointed temporary sheriff. Ranger Sam Burrack's jurisdiction now includes Redemption. He's spent most of his career on the trail, hunting down outlaws on the run, and is unaware of the politics involved in policing a community. But once Sam starts imposing law and order, it appears that Redemption is finally going to live up to its name.
