Bartholomew Schumacher (b. ca. 1668), his wife and family, emigrated from England in 1790. Abstract:

Bartholomew Schumacher (b. ca. 1668), his wife and family, emigrated from England in 1790. His son, John (b. ca. 1703) was a freeholder at Ballyngarane, Ireland, 1747-1759; and was on the Oliver Estate near Kilfinane, Ireland, from 1761-1783. John's grandson, Peter (ca. 1770-1848) married twice and was the father of nine children, ca. 1794-1819. All of his sons and one of their cousins, immigrated to Australia between 1840-1856. Descendants lived in Australia. Descendants spelled their surname, Shumack, Sheumack, and other variant spellings.
