Binding: full blue crushed morocco; covers framed in single and double gilt fillets; spine compartments decorated and lettered in gilt; elaborate inner dentelles. Original blue covers and spine, blindstamped and lettered in gilt, bound in; cover and spine title: The landscape painters of England. Armorial bookplate on front pastedown: "Sir Charles Philip Huntington, 3rd Baronet"; small initials "W.P.B" and "1912" at foot of illustration.
