Summary:
Snowboard is one of the youngest sports in the Olympics, and it was once viewed as the sport of "bad boys" and "rebels." It might have lost some of that rowdy image, but it still has its pop pizazz. This book will explain what stunts are and how they're done. It'll tell you where snowboarding came from and where it's going. And you'll meet some of the most colorful characters you'll find in any sport.

A good read for anyone with an interest in snowboarding

by AnchorageSchools (WorldCat user published 2010-01-27) Very Good Permalink

An overview of Olympic snowboarding events, including parallel giant slalom, halfpipe, and snowboard cross. The sport's short history is chronicled with several stories and sketches and the rules of the various events are explained. Plenty of great pictures top off this book. A good read for anyone...
