Abstract:
Presents the work of SOS Children's Villages with the children of the coastal countries of West Africa who have lost their families and homes, emphasizing the family approach to child welfare and the idea that each child must have a mother. Visits villages and associated educational and health care projects in The Gambia, Cape Verde, Guines-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Liberia.
