Text set in Bembo type, the Monotype machine composition by Brian Hubbard and the display type handset by Graham Moss. The paper is Heritage, Fourdrinier made to full archival specifications ... The illustrations in Dr Archer's essay are printed from magnesium blocks made by The Block Shop, Manchester. The engravings in the Notebook are printed from the wood, except as noted previously. This is copy number 125 of an edition of two hundred copies hand bound by Nancy Winfield and Mark Horne of Salisbury Bookbinders and signed by [signature] Caroline Archer.
