Layout: Frame-ruled in red, 22 long lines. Intermittent marginal glosses.
Script: Variety of cursive hands dating to the 17th century; some headings are written in Gothic script.
Imperfections: Modern foliation erroneously includes fly-leaves, resulting in a count of 80 instead of 76, with the first leaf being numbered as fol. 3.
First leaf and last two leaves ruled but blank.
Origin: Presumably copied in England in the 17th century.
Provenance: 1. Armorial book-plate (motto: Magistratus indicat virum) of Hugh Cecil Lowther, Earl of Lonsdale (1857-1944) -- 2. Purchased from Goldschmidt, 14 October 1937.
