|Notes:||From a set of four that are in the collection at Winterthur (1961.1532; 1961.1533; 1961.1534; 1961.1535).
According to Joseph Downs, Elliott made this set for Charles Norris of Philadelphia and they descended to his daughter, Deborah Norris Logan, who used them at Stenton, in Germantown.
They subsequently descended in the Logan family and were eventually acquired by Henry Francis du Pont as two separate sets of two.
