In the 1st selection Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee are the subjects. Since they arrived late for this live broadcast, the sequence recorded is very brief. The 2nd & 3rd selections are from a series of about 300 public service shows produced by the Treasury Dept. in 1942-43 in order to sell war bonds. Program no. 99 features Todd Duncan, Muriel Smith and songs from Porgy and Bess. Program no. 71 features Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll as Amos 'n' Andy.
