Abstract:

A number of research studies into managing the impact of terrorism on tourism industry have shown the perception of risk has been increasing since 1970s. The present study aims to investigate whether the perception of risk affects tourist arrivals even to a destination free from attacks. Secondly it aims to study the relationship among perception of risks, demographic variables, destination image and intention to visit including duration of stay in a vacationing destination.
