The result is a volume which should be of great interest to every student of the Bible...'Current Progress and Problems in Septuagint Research' is the title of an article by Harry M. Orlinsky. He shows that a tremendous amount of research yet remains to be done on the Septuagint, not only for establishing the Old Testament text, but also for the semantics and linguistics of Biblical Hebrew..." -- Journal of Biblical Literature (Jun., 1948).
