Subject files kept by Robert Switzer regarding his professional and military activities, arranged alphabetically by topic. Topics include various professional associations (especially the American Association of Psychiatric Clinics for Children and the articles Dr. Switzer wrote for the Group for the Advancement of Psychiatry, or GAP), various Kansas state agencies, Coronet Film productions on child mental health with which Switzer and the Menninger Foundation were involved, books for children and parents published by Golden Press with which Switzer was involved, the Menninger Foundation's Medical Records Committee, Switzer's colleagues at Menninger (such as the Murphys and Povl Toussieng), Switzer's continued involvement with the Navy, his anti-smoking campaign of the mid-1960s and later, his publications and presentations, education and training in child psychiatry, mental illnesses in children, Switzer's consultation work including at the federal level, and other related topics.
