Starting with just $700 and a simple web site in 1999, AFH has grown into an international hub for humanitarian design, offering innovative solutions to housing problems all over the world. In this TEDTalk, Sinclair, a regular contributor to the sustainability blog Worldchanging.com, accepts his 2006 TED Prize and demonstrates how passionate designers and architects can respond to world housing crises. He unveils his TED Prize wish for a network to improve global living standards through collaborative design.
