In this edition ... the translation was revised, and fresh notes were added, by Junius; while J. Tornæsius edited the version and notes of Beza." (D. & M.).
In six parts, each with separate dated title page, pagination, and register. The canonical O.T. is in 4 parts: part 1 contains Pentateuch, part 2 "libri historici", part 3 "libri poetici", part 4 "prophetici libri". The title pages to the Old Testament, parts 2-4, read "Bibliorum pars secunda ... [-tertia, -quarta]". Part 5 = "Libri apocryphi, sive appendix Testamenti veteris ... ". Title-page of part 6 (New Testament) reads "D. N. Jesu Christi Testamentum Novum ..." Parts 3 and 5 have imprint: "Francofurdi apud Andreæ Wecheli hæredes, Claudium Marnium, & Ioannem Aubrium. M.D. XC."
The Bible text is printed continuously, but with verse numbers in the text. It includes prefaces to many books, chapter summaries, marginal notes and references, "annotatio" to each chapter. In the N.T. the versions of Beza and of Tremellius are printed in parallel columns on each page. Each part includes a dedicatory preface.
