A Star is Born: As young Esther Blodgett rises to stardom, her husband, former leading man Norman Maine, finds his career in a downward spiral. Eternally Yours: In this magic-filled romantic comedy, a dashing escape artist steals the heart of a beautiful bride-to-be at her bridal shower. The couple marries, but when the magician refuses to give up the showbiz life, his wife performs a disappearing act of her own. Filmed using the 1939 World's Fair as a backdrop. Power, Passion, Murder: A studio chief in 1930s Hollywood who influences the fates of aspiring movie stars falls from grace. Thereupon, deadly revenge follows, when a rising star's affair with this married man is discovered by his jealous wife. The Lady and the Highwayman: A beautiful young woman falls in love with a handsome highwayman, who saves her from her brutal husband. But when Charles II returns to claim his throne as King of England, she finds herself the enemy of the king's former mistress.
