I adore this book. I adored it pretty much from the moment I started reading it; it suckered me in right away. The characters are interesting, multi dimensional and real. The storyline made me smile and broke my heart a little, even knowing that there was no other way for it to end, part of me kept hoping for something different. I enjoyed seeing it told from Scout's point of view, and the way the story and characters were revealed as she came to know and understand the world a little more. The writing itself is fantastic, somehow making the smallest of things still intriguing through the eyes of a child.

I recommend this novel to absolutely everyone, and I am yet to meet a person who has not liked it. Read it now! And then go watch the film, because that is a wonderful adaptation.

Also, I have a major crush on Atticus Finch.
