Notes: Accusing Gov. Clinton of using his position as president of the Commissioners of the Land Office to reward his friends and supporters with large grants of public lands at very low prices. This controversy was a feature of the bitter gubernatorial campaign of 1792; the work to which this replies (Evans 24859) is dated Apr. 11, 1792.
Followed by: Resolutions proposed by Mr. Talbot to the House of Assembly, and on which the friends of Mr. Clinton precluded a question, by moving their resolution as an amendment.
Place of publication supplied by Bristol, who dates it erroneously 1791.
