Siam and the World Transportation Commission.
On June 24, 1961, President John Kennedy assigned Vice President Lyndon Johnson the high priority task of unifying the United States satellite programs. Also discusses the end of absolute monarchy in Siam on June 24, 1932 and the subsequent modernizing of the country's infrastructure. Also discusses the arrival of the World's Transportation Commission, a delegation of U.S. businessmen, who traveled to Siam to explore possibilities of promoting American trade.
