Train Your Dog Change Your Life is so much more than a dog training book. The book was ahead of its time. We truly hope that Wiley or a publisher/agent with some savvy and common sense will realize this.
It is an interactive training program that is as much about human and dog relationships, education, awareness and well-being, as it is about basic canine life and social skills, that all dogs deserve and how it can save their lives. Filled with ways to improve our own life skills (career, family, friends) while teaching our dogs is a bone-us.
Maureen is a board certified counselor who shares her story about growing up with dogs as teachers and therapists. Living and learning with dogs and understanding that experiences and making mistakes are a lifelong gift for any thriving species is a key message through-out.
She has the ability to capture the wisdom of mentors, tying it in with her own loving, living and training experiences with dogs and families, and share it without judgment.
We can't wait to see a second edition and several more books from her, hoping that the next publisher "gets it". Keep the stuff in that is about Maureen and her journey with dogs ... how she uncomplicates training with easy daily routines, making a difference one dog at a time.
Electronically, this is a e-publishers dream.
Enjoy the Journey
