Abstract:

Mexico City: Shari climbs the towering ancient pyramids at Teotihuacan then visits the National Museum of Anthropology, which houses many treasures from Mexico's diverse civilizations. Next, explore Mexico City's urban spaces including the bustling Reforma, the vast Zocolo and the posh Zona Rosa. Finally, float down Xochimiclo's colorful canals, sailing past boats filled with bright flowers, delicious food and vivacious marachi bands.

Guadalajara: Shari first introduces you to the spectacular architecture styles that make up Guadalajara, then takes you to see the Ballet Folklorio de Mexico, the nation's history told through a pageant of resplendent costumes and rousing dances. After looking around a tequila factory, head for the beaches of Puerto Vallarta and visit San Miguel de Allende, an artist's colony that seems frozen in time.
