If ever there was a written companion for the “Imitation of Christ”, this is it. Comprised in the 1600’s, this work is comprised in three books. Perhaps the author, by himself, the translator or editor, or even any combination there of, has crooned a masterpiece in this arena. Understandably, Thomas’s work was written with the cloister and clergy first, this work lends itself to the civilian sector.
This work is indeed a valuable addition to any library. I understand that a recent re-edition is to be presented in the Spring of 2009’
