This biography contains first hand accounts of Mark Twain's life, primary source photographs, and a useful timeline and bibliography, as well as the jumping frog story that made him famous. The text is easy to read, and the story is compelling. Sid Fleishman has done a fabulous job of painting Mark Twain as a flawed, acerbic, cynical, flighty extremely likable adventurer.
