Very Good

This is a very cute story. Children have particularly loved the vivid and vibrant illustrations. They enjoy the story, but the pictures seem to really grab their attention from the very first page. The text is in rhyming form which is always appealing to them as well. Tumford learns a lesson in manners in this light-hearted and accessible story. It would not have hurt for the story to be more detailed and a bit longer, but it does make its point and the kids really get a kick out of Tumford and his shennanigans.
