Abstract:

The Manxman: Hitchcock's last silent film. Filmed amid the haunting scenery of the Isle of Man, this is the torrid tale of a twisted love triangle gone wrong, of dashed hopes and desperate redemption. Juno and the paycock: The wife of a poor Irish family in the 1920s struggles to hold her family together during the hard times. Meanwhile, her husband does nothing but bring them disrepute. Champagne: In this silent film, the millionaire father of an impetuous daughter decides to cut her off to put an end to her flippant behavior and to teach her a lesson. When his plan goes too far, she ends up learning more than any girl should know. The Cheney vase: An early episode of the classic TV series. A disgruntled museum curator devises a sinister plan to get back at his former employer. Desperate to lay his hands on a famous vase, just how far is he willing to go to get it?
