Letters, telegram, soundscribers, memos and news clippings relating to: grant to Prof. Robin Alston; consideration given to the purchase of works of Bliss Carman from Raleigh Parkin and other books and manuscripts; preservation of Winslow papers and other materials; letter from Sir Howard Douglas to Sir Walter Scott; hiring of art gallery staff; preparation and revisions to art gallery catalogue; demolition of slave quarters at the Jonathan Odell House; hiring of Zeta Rosenberg to work on the Winslow Papers and Edwy Cooke as gallery curator and professor in the Fine Arts Dept. at UNB; request to use Lloyd George, Hazen and Bennett papers; Beaverbrook's and Cristabel Maxwell's gifts of books including letters on Juliana Horatio Ewing and plans for the establishment of an Archives in New Brunswick and K.C. Irving's assistance in this matter and book cases for the art gallery.
