Softening the heart

Yankowski truly softens the heart in his work about his experience on the streets of American big cities.  He reveals the face of the homeless and in so doing reveals the face of Christ.  His work is not sentimental, nor is it easy.  It doesn't romanticize the horror of homelessness....
