Shows were aired on Fridays, August 4-September 29, 1939 from 4:00-4:30 p.m., PST.
John Mack Brown (Boss Wrangler)and the Texas Rangers participated in all seven shows. Leta Gayle partipated in the shows on Aug. 4th, 11th and 18th. Ruth Holloway particpated in the shows on Sept. 1st, 15th, 22nd and 29th.
Bound together are radio scripts for the radio programs "Man About Hollywood" and "Under Western Skies". Columbia Broadcasting System presented both radio programs. "Man About Hollywood" features interviews with the people behind the scenes in Hollywood. "Under Western Skies" features " ... the spirt, the color, and the romance of the west in a half hour of songs and stories by America's foremost singers of Western music ..."--P.  of Aug. 4, 1939 script.
