(6) Fort McPherson, Ga.: Sergeant Randall Stroud bids adieu to the U.S. Army--one of the first to be mustered out. (7) Denver, Colo.: The Congressional Medal of Honor is presented to Corporal Robert Maxwell and to the parents of Private Elmer Fryar, KIA.
