(2) N.Y.C.: 3,000 Nazi prisoners arrive in America--the last who will be sent to this country. (3) Milan, Italy: An indignant mob kicks at the bodies of Mussolini and his mistress. Later, their corpses dangle head downward, high above the crowds. (Graphic!) (4) Times Square: The Iowa Jima statue is unveiled by three of the heroes who took part in the original flag-raising. (5) Washington, D.C.: Mrs. Truman, 92, arrives from Missouri by plane to spend Mother's Day in the White House with her famous son. (6) Fort McPherson, Ga.: Sergeant Randall Stroud bids adieu to the U.S. Army--one of the first to be mustered out. (7) Denver, Colo.: The Congressional Medal of Honor is presented to Corporal Robert Maxwell and to the parents of Private Elmer Fryar, KIA. (8) Exclusive! 30,000 fans crowd into Narragansett Park, Rhode Island, as horse racing resumes in the U.S.A. Universal Studios. (7 minutes)."
