"Labor merger : AF of L and CIO join forces": New York meeting of CIO and AFL for merger, Walter Reuther and George Meany, and President Eisenhower from his office speaks (Ike's voice over pictures of the convention).

"Government workers": An overview about some of the government workers that make the US of A run. Profiles postal service workers, Food and Drug Administration scientists, national weathermen, the national archives, the office of weights and measures, Census Bureau, Pentagon, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), United States Information Agency and The Voice of America, Pentagon, and more. Also, features operations inside the U.S. Mint where access is no longer allowed.
