"This [hypertext] project interweaves the histories of two communities on either side of the Mason-Dixon line during the era of the American Civil War", Staunton, Virginia and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The project includes an electronic archives of the sources on which the narrative is based (The Eve of the war, and The War years), including maps & images, church records, military records, letters & diaries, newspapers, and public records.
