This terrorist-infested remake of Rashoman clearly is aiming to add to the pile of films depicting American bravado in the face of complex international situations. The film is well made, however, with each individual's story revealing serious twists to the narrative the viewer thought they understood completely during the first few minutes. A silly action film that doesn't really take make much of a statement except for a subtle jab at mainstream news sources: they lie.
