Financial documents and ledger fragments, petitions, and correspondence of Vincenzo de' Medici and his heirs covering a very diverse range of topics, the most important being the management of the textile family business and of the farms of Valdinievole and Trespiano (Folders 168-195); mint operations, including the sale and purchase of bullion with Genoa and Spain (Folders 196-228); and the banking activities he conducted in partnership with his brother Andrea de' Medici (Folders 229-233). Also includes 57 oversize documents, mostly dealing with miscellaneous debts and credits and mint operations (Folders 517-522).
