Followed by a letter (7 p. at end) dated Richmond, April 12th, 1800, vindicating the conduct of Thomas Jefferson while governor of Virginia. Recorded separately in Evans (entry 38942) but according to Evans "Probably issued only affixed to A vindication of the general ticket law." The title as recorded in Evans is from an inscription in the Library of Congress copy. Another edition (not in Evans or Bristol) has caption title: (Circular.) Richmond, April 12th, 1800.
