This collection of short stores are written by Latinos. The stories tell of the struggles and frustrations in their lives. Excellent and gripping. Photographs add to the over all impact of the text. There is one story that makes me hestitate to have it in a middle school. It is written by a boy in jail who has burned down a night club. He describes the horror of his brothers beating and gang rape.
