Second printing of a satirical tract by Andreas Osiander directed at those who mock the word of God. This work is not polemical, since Osiander is not addressing anyone in particular, but is comparable to a satire like Sebastian Brant's "ship of fools." Unlike Brant, Osiander does not see intemperance as the greatest of sins, but rather resistance to God's will and clinging to obsolete traditions and practices.
