The title of this book could easily be a put-off. Don't let it; it has nothing to do with zombies nor is it a horror story. Even the picture on the dust cover gives a false impression too.
This book is one of the better suspense novels. It makes one concentrate and has quite a few sub-plots that are eventually interwoven. It makes one wonder how our author, Gerald Seymour, managed to produce this tapestry from all of the twists and turns. You will be taken by surprise on numerous occasions.
If you think you can judge human nature then think again. Be prepared for some quality reading time; its hard to put down and it is well written. You will want to discuss some of issues raised in the book not only because its exciting but also because of the moral dilemmas that you are faced with on so many occasions. Don't bore your colleagues. I would imagine it would be a great book for discussions in a book club. By the way, when you complete the story, and you will, you will be wondering who's the hero.
Its a great read
