Doing a book cleaning I discovered this little gem in its paperback form.  The examples given on the second page for Rules of spelling and forming plurals seemed contradictory.  I don't claim to be an expert in the written word myself but instructing the use of plural nouns which end in y following a vowel are formed by adding an s seemed basic.  The example however may have missed the editor "family is families"? That was rule number three.  I don't feel right donating this book.  I will keep it for myself for a laugh?
