It is not certain which of the preliminary leaves have been cancelled; of those present, the first is the title leaf (verso blank), and the second is the contents (verso blank); the preface found in the first Indian edition is omitted. This description corresponds to Stewart, but copies may conceivably differ.
Issued in green printed wrappers, with illustrated cover title and vignette of a fife and a drum player on back cover.
