Doig's Best Book?

by bruce.newell (WorldCat user published 2007-08-03) Excellent Permalink
Doig writes with economy and a bulls-eye sense of time and place. I live just over the hills from (where I imagine) the site of the book. This is a remarkable book from a remarkable author, a very worthy addition to the world's stock of wonderful literature.
