Illustrated by Michael Foreman in those wonderful blue watercolors that he does so well, this is a picture book story of a young girl and her grandfather who wait for an owl to appear in a nesting box. Accompanying the story, but not intruding on the text, are nonfiction facts provided by the author who is a zoologist. The nonfiction facts are set apart in a different type face so children can see the difference between fact and fiction. All-in-all this will be a wonderful addition to your picture book section.
