Abstract:

Parts three and four of a propaganda series of seven information films shown to the American G.I. in the 1940's. Originally produced by the United States government for the Morale Services Division which documents the causes and events leading up to World War II and exhorts Americans to support the war effort. Divide and conquer: Recounts the successive defeats of Denmark, Norway, Holland, Belgium, and France by the seemingly invincible German army, as seen in dramatic footage from both sides of the battle. The Battle of Britain: Exclusive Army footage and captured Nazi film portray the indomitable spirit of the heroic Londoners during the blitz by the Luftwaffe and outline Hitler's six-point plan to annihilate England.
